Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There's no account, no card and no paid tier. StockSignalCheck is supported by ads on the website, not by the emails.
How often will I get emails?
Only when something happens. We check after the US market closes on weekdays, and most days most stocks don't trigger anything. When several of your stocks do, you get one combined email. A stock on a long run won't send a new 52-week-high alert every day; it waits at least 20 trading days before repeating it.
Are these buy or sell signals?
No. An alert tells you a fact about the price, such as a stock closing above its 200-day average. It doesn't say what to do about it, and it doesn't look at the company's earnings or valuation. Use it as a prompt to do your own research.
Which stocks can I follow?
Any stock or ETF listed in the US, including Canadian companies with a New York listing. Search by ticker or company name. TSX-only listings aren't available yet.
Why are Canadian companies in US dollars?
Alerts for companies like RY, TD and ENB use their New York (NYSE) listings, so prices are in US dollars. Signals such as a moving-average crossover usually happen around the same time on the TSX listing, but the exact prices differ.
How do I stop or change my alerts?
Every email has a link to manage your stocks or unsubscribe in one tap. Unsubscribing deletes your email address.
Alerts are generated automatically from daily closing prices supplied by a third-party data provider and may be delayed or occasionally wrong. They are general market information for research and education only, not personalized financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal.
