Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information StockSignalCheck collects when you use the site, and how it's used. The short version: you don't need an account, your watchlist stays on your device, and the site uses standard analytics and email tools.
Information stored on your device
Your watchlist and recent searches are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to or stored on our servers. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which features are used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device type and browser. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Email updates
If you sign up for updates, your email address is collected and stored by our email provider, MailerLite. We use it only to send StockSignalCheck news and feature updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we don't sell your address.
Advertising
StockSignalCheck may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings or learn more at aboutads.info.
Affiliate links
Some links to brokerages are affiliate links. If you click one, the partner may use cookies to record that you came from StockSignalCheck. We don't receive any personal or account information from partners, only aggregate referral reports.
Stock searches
When you look up a ticker, the symbol is sent to our server to retrieve market data. We don't link searches to your identity.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, unsubscribe from emails at any time, and ask us to access or delete any personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as Canada's PIPEDA or British Columbia's PIPA.
Children
StockSignalCheck is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
